From 12/7/12 to 12/9/12, Troop 91 went on a car camping trip to the Cove Creek campsite in Pisgah National Forest, near the Fish Hatchery. About 35 scouts and adults came on the trip. We arrived at the campsite at around 7:30, and put out our tents and went to sleep. We woke up the next morning, ate breakfast, and split up. about ten people went over to the fish hatchery to begin the John’s Rock hike, and the others went biking. I attended the hiking trip, so I don’t know much about what happened on the biking trip, but I do know that some people got lost and had to do it twice. As for the hikers, the view from the rock was beautiful and everything went well. The two groups met up at the campsite at the end of the day. We ate dinner and slept at the campsite for another night. The next morning, we packed up, ate breakfast, did our trash sweep, did our Thorns and Roses, and left for home.
